FFUL supports Portuguese Language Countries responding to COVID-19
FFUL is scientifically supporting the National Council for the Cooperation of the Order of Pharmacists (OF) for the training of Portuguese Language Countries (PALOP) in carrying out screening tests for the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The collaboration of FFUL is being done through the Research Institute for Medicines (iMed.ULisboa) and the Laboratory of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology (DMI), focusing mainly on the training of several PALOP entities in the assembly of the techniques that make implementation possible of the tests. Assistance may also be provided for laboratory analyzes sent by the PALOP for the diagnosis of COVID-19.
This support process for the PALOP involves the FFUL, the OF and the Association of Pharmacists of Portuguese Language Countries (AFPLP) in direct articulation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MNE).
