Changes in Food choices and eating behaviour duriing pandemics

The pandemic we are facing affects mobility and requires changes in daily habits. Therefore, it is importante to know and understand what this  situation changes in eating behavior. For this purpose, the University of Évora, in collaboration with the Estoril Higher School of Food and Tourism (ESHTE) and the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences from the University of Porto (FCNAUP), developed an online questionnaire. This questionnaire aims to assess eating habits, as well as food purchasing habits, in this period, relating them to individual motivations.
This questionnaire, whose application is also being done at international level (e.g Spain, Italy, Morocco, Costa Rica, among others), aims to provide information that, besides being used for scientific purposes, will allow the development of strategies to help in the adoption of healthier behaviors and / or taking advantage of existing beneficial changes, in order to encourage good food habits in a post-pandemic period.
